Robus Harbour Express Driver input Voltage range


Robus Harbour Express will operate between the input Voltage range stated on the marketing material 198-277V.
Market confusion will be present as the drivers state 220-240V as do the instructions as they must reference one of only two standards available.

The classification for the voltage ranges that they refer to having to meet the two standards is the 220-240v standard or 110-277v for a wide range driver, this being said the manufacture of the driver has tested the drivers and that they can operate between 180 – 280v for short periods of time but will still need to be listed under one of these 2 standards. As the driver will not operate at the 110v range we needed to stipulate that the driver passes the standard requirement of 220-240v range, this means all information printed on certifications & visible on the driver has to state the 220-240v range.

In our development of the Harbour express range we chose to expand the input operating voltage range for our NZ & AUS range as we have and will still experience voltage fluctuations, extending the range gives us more reliability & quality of the products. So in summary yes they meet the AUS & NZ standard and surpass this but we are bound to state the standard on the product information.
